1 And Elisha477 the prophet5030 called7121 one259 of the children1121 of the prophets,5030 and said559 to him, Gird2296 up your loins,4975 and take3947 this2088 box6378 of oil8081 in your hand,3027 and go3212 to Ramothgilead:7433

2 And when you come935 thither,8033 look7200 out there8033 Jehu3058 the son1121 of Jehoshaphat3092 the son1121 of Nimshi,5250 and go935 in, and make him arise6965 up from among8432 his brothers,251 and carry935 him to an inner2315 chamber;2315

3 Then take3947 the box6378 of oil,8081 and pour3332 it on5921 his head,7218 and say,559 Thus3541 said559 the LORD,3068 I have anointed4886 you king4428 over5921 Israel.3478 Then open6605 the door,1817 and flee,5127 and tarry2442 not.

4 So the young5288 man, even the young5288 man the prophet,5030 went3212 to Ramothgilead.7433

5 And when he came,935 behold,2009 the captains8269 of the host2428 were sitting;3427 and he said,559 I have an errand1697 to you, O captain.8269 And Jehu3058 said,559 To which4310 of all3605 us? And he said,559 To you, O captain.8269

6 And he arose,6965 and went935 into the house;1004 and he poured3332 the oil8081 on413 his head,7218 and said559 to him, Thus3541 said559 the LORD3068 God430 of Israel,3478 I have anointed4886 you king4428 over413 the people5971 of the LORD,3068 even over413 Israel.3478

7 And you shall smite5221 the house1004 of Ahab256 your master,113 that I may avenge5358 the blood1818 of my servants5650 the prophets,5030 and the blood1818 of all3605 the servants5650 of the LORD,3068 at the hand3027 of Jezebel.348

8 For the whole3605 house1004 of Ahab256 shall perish:6 and I will cut3772 off from Ahab256 him that urinates8366 against the wall,7023 and him that is shut6113 up and left in Israel:3478

9 And I will make5414 the house1004 of Ahab256 like the house1004 of Jeroboam3379 the son1121 of Nebat,5028 and like the house1004 of Baasha1201 the son1121 of Ahijah:281

10 And the dogs3611 shall eat398 Jezebel348 in the portion2506 of Jezreel,3157 and there shall be none369 to bury6912 her. And he opened6605 the door,1817 and fled.5127

11 Then Jehu3058 came3318 forth3318 to the servants5650 of his lord:113 and one said559 to him, Is all well?7965 why4069 came935 this2088 mad7696 fellow to you? And he said559 to them, You know3045 the man,376 and his communication.7879

12 And they said,559 It is false;8267 tell559 us now.4994 And he said,559 Thus2063 and thus2063 spoke559 he to me, saying,559 Thus3541 said559 the LORD,3068 I have anointed4886 you king4428 over413 Israel.3478

13 Then they hurried,4116 and took3947 every man376 his garment,899 and put7760 it under8478 him on413 the top1634 of the stairs,4609 and blew8628 with trumpets,7782 saying,559 Jehu3058 is king.4427

14 So Jehu3058 the son1121 of Jehoshaphat3092 the son1121 of Nimshi5250 conspired7194 against413 Joram.3141 (Now Joram3141 had kept8104 Ramothgilead,7433 he and all3605 Israel,3478 because6440 of Hazael2371 king4428 of Syria.758

15 But king4428 Joram3088 was returned7725 to be healed7495 in Jezreel3157 of the wounds4347 which834 the Syrians761 had given5221 him, when he fought3898 with Hazael2371 king4428 of Syria.758) And Jehu3058 said,559 If518 it be your minds,5315 then let none408 go3318 forth3318 nor escape6412 out of the city5892 to go3212 to tell5046 it in Jezreel.3157

16 So Jehu3058 rode7392 in a chariot,7393 and went3212 to Jezreel;3157 for Joram3141 lay7901 there.8033 And Ahaziah274 king4428 of Judah3063 was come3381 down3381 to see7200 Joram.3141

17 And there stood5975 a watchman6822 on5921 the tower4026 in Jezreel,3157 and he spied7200 the company8229 of Jehu3058 as he came,935 and said,559 I see7200 a company.8229 And Joram3088 said,559 Take3947 an horseman,7395 and send7971 to meet7125 them, and let him say,559 Is it peace?7965

18 So there went3212 one on horseback7392 5483 to meet7125 him, and said,559 Thus3541 said559 the king,4428 Is it peace?7965 And Jehu3058 said,559 What4100 have you to do with peace?7965 turn5437 you behind310 me. And the watchman6822 told,5046 saying,559 The messenger4397 came935 to them, but he comes7725 not again.7725

19 Then he sent7971 out a second8145 on horseback,5483 which came935 to them, and said,559 Thus3541 said559 the king,4428 Is it peace?7965 And Jehu3058 answered,559 What4100 have you to do with peace?7965 turn5437 you behind310 me.

20 And the watchman6822 told,5046 saying,559 He came935 even to them, and comes7725 not again:7725 and the driving4491 is like the driving4491 of Jehu3058 the son1121 of Nimshi;5250 for he drives5090 furiously.7697

21 And Joram3088 said,559 Make ready.631 And his chariot7393 was made ready.631 And Joram3088 king4428 of Israel3478 and Ahaziah274 king4428 of Judah3063 went3318 out, each376 in his chariot,7393 and they went3318 out against7125 Jehu,3058 and met4672 him in the portion2513 of Naboth5022 the Jezreelite.3158

22 And it came1961 to pass, when Joram3088 saw7200 Jehu,3058 that he said,559 Is it peace,7965 Jehu?3058 And he answered,559 What4100 peace,7965 so long5704 as the prostitutions2183 of your mother517 Jezebel348 and her witchcrafts3785 are so many?7227

23 And Joram3088 turned2015 his hands,3027 and fled,5127 and said559 to Ahaziah,274 There is treachery,4820 O Ahaziah.274

24 And Jehu3058 drew a bow7198 with his full4390 strength,3027 and smote5221 Jehoram3088 between996 his arms,2220 and the arrow2678 went3318 out at his heart,3820 and he sunk3766 down in his chariot.7393

25 Then said559 Jehu to Bidkar920 his captain,7991 Take5375 up, and cast7993 him in the portion2513 of the field7704 of Naboth5022 the Jezreelite:3158 for remember2142 how that, when I and you rode7392 together6776 after310 Ahab256 his father,1 the LORD3068 laid5375 this2088 burden4853 on him;

26 Surely I have seen7200 yesterday570 the blood1818 of Naboth,5022 and the blood1818 of his sons,1121 said559 the LORD;3068 and I will requite7999 you in this2063 plat,2513 said5002 the LORD.3068 Now6258 therefore take5375 and cast7993 him into the plat2513 of ground, according to the word1697 of the LORD.3068

27 But when Ahaziah274 the king4428 of Judah3063 saw7200 this, he fled5127 by the way1870 of the garden1588 house.1004 And Jehu3058 followed7291 after310 him, and said,559 Smite5221 him also1571 in the chariot.4818 And they did so at the going4608 up to Gur,1483 which834 is by Ibleam.2991 And he fled5127 to Megiddo,4023 and died4191 there.8033

28 And his servants5650 carried7392 him in a chariot to Jerusalem,3389 and buried6912 him in his sepulcher6900 with his fathers1 in the city5892 of David.1732

29 And in the eleventh6240 year8141 of Joram3088 the son1121 of Ahab256 began Ahaziah274 to reign4427 over5921 Judah.3063

30 And when Jehu3058 was come935 to Jezreel,3157 Jezebel348 heard8085 of it; and she painted7760 6320 her face,5869 and tired3190 her head,7218 and looked8259 out at1157 a window.2474

31 And as Jehu3058 entered935 in at the gate,8179 she said,559 Had Zimri2174 peace,7965 who slew2026 his master?113

32 And he lifted5375 up his face6440 to the window,2474 and said,559 Who4310 is on854 my side? who?4310 And there looked8259 out to him two8147 or three7969 eunuchs.5631

33 And he said,559 Throw8058 her down.8058 So they threw8058 her down:8058 and some of her blood1818 was sprinkled5137 on413 the wall,7023 and on413 the horses:5483 and he stepped7429 her under foot.

34 And when he was come935 in, he did eat398 and drink,8354 and said,559 Go,6485 see now4994 this2063 cursed779 woman, and bury6912 her: for she is a king's4428 daughter.1323

35 And they went3212 to bury6912 her: but they found4672 no3808 more3588 518 of her than3588 518 the skull,1538 and the feet,7272 and the palms3709 of her hands.3027

36 Why they came7725 again,7725 and told5046 him. And he said,559 This1931 is the word1697 of the LORD,3068 which834 he spoke1696 by his servant5650 Elijah452 the Tishbite,8664 saying,559 In the portion2506 of Jezreel3157 shall dogs3611 eat398 the flesh1320 of Jezebel:348

37 And the carcass5038 of Jezebel348 shall be as dung1828 on the face6440 of the field7704 in the portion2506 of Jezreel;3157 so that they shall not say,559 This2063 is Jezebel.348

4 Ученик пророков отправился в Рамот Гиладский.

5 Пришел он туда и видит: там сидят военачальники. «Есть у меня к тебе дело, военачальник», — сказал он. «К кому из нас?» — спросил Иегу, и тот ответил: «К тебе, военачальник».

6 Иегу встал и вошел в дом. Ученик пророков возлил елей ему на голову и сказал: «Так говорит ГОСПОДЬ, Бог Израиля: „Я помазал тебя в цари над народом ГОСПОДНИМ, над Израилем.

7 Ты уничтожишь род Ахава, твоего владыки, и так отомщу Я за кровь слуг Моих, пророков, и за кровь всех служителей ГОСПОДА, пролитую Иезавелью.

8 Сгинет весь род Ахава, Я уничтожу в Израиле всех мужчин рода Ахава — и взрослых, и детей!

9 Поступлю Я с родом Ахава так же, как с родом Иеровоама, сына Невата, как с родом Ваасы, сына Ахии.

10 Непогребенное тело Иезавели съедят псы на том самом земельном наделе в Изреэле“». Потом он открыл дверь и бежал.

11 Иегу вышел к слугам своего владыки, и кто-то спросил его: «Всё ли благополучно? Зачем приходил к тебе этот безумец?» «Вы сами видели этого человека, — ответил тот, — что он мог сказать?»

12 «Неправда! — возразили они. — Расскажи нам». И тот пересказал услышанное: «Он сказал, что так говорит ГОСПОДЬ: „Я помазал тебя в цари над Израилем“».

13 Они тотчас сняли свои одежды и бросили на ступени ему под ноги, протрубили в рог и возгласили: «Иегу воцарился!»

14 Так Иегу, сын Иосафата, потомок Нимши, устроил заговор против Иорама. Иорам с израильским войском оборонял тогда Рамот Гиладский от Хазаэля, царя арамейского.

15 Сам царь Иорам отправился в Изреэль залечивать раны, полученные от арамеев в битве с Хазаэлем, царем арамейским. Иегу сказал: «Если вы за меня, пусть никто не оставляет города, не то обо всем будет известно в Изреэле».

16 Сам Иегу взошел на колесницу и отправился в Изреэль, где лежал раненый Иорам. Царь иудейский Охозия приехал тогда навестить Иорама.

17 Дозорный, что стоял на башне в Изреэле, увидел много людей, свиту Иегу, и крикнул: «Вижу много людей!» «Пошлите всадника им навстречу, — велел Иорам, — пусть спросит, с добром ли пришли».

18 Всадник выехал им навстречу и сказал: «Царь спрашивает, с добром ли идете?» «Какое тебе дело, с добром ли мы пожаловали или нет? — отвечал Иегу. — Поворачивай и следуй за мной!» А дозорный крикнул: «Посыльный добрался до них, но не возвращается!»

19 Отправили второго всадника, тот подъехал к ним и сказал: «Царь спрашивает, с добром ли пришли?» «Какое тебе дело, с добром ли мы пожаловали или нет? — отвечал Иегу. — Поворачивай и следуй за мной!»

20 А дозорный крикнул: «Посыльный добрался до них, но не возвращается! А тот, кто в колеснице, правит, как Иегу, потомок Нимши, — несется как безумный!»

21 Тогда Иорам велел подать колесницу. Когда запрягли колесницу, Иорам, царь израильский, и Охозия, царь иудейский, отправились навстречу Иегу, каждый в своей колеснице. Они съехались на земельном наделе Навота из Изреэля.

22 Увидев Иегу, Иорам спросил его: «С добром ли пришел, Иегу?» «Что же тут доброго, — отвечал тот, — когда Иезавель, твоя мать, без устали развратничает и множит колдовство?»

23 Иорам тут же повернул и пустился прочь, крича Охозии: «Измена, Охозия!»

24 А Иегу, натянув лук, выстрелил и попал Иораму между лопаток: стрела прошла сквозь сердце, и тот рухнул в своей колеснице.

25 Иегу велел Бидкару, своему вознице: «Возьми его тело и брось на земельном наделе Навота из Изреэля. Помнишь, как мы с тобой ехали позади Ахава, отца Иорама, и какое прорицание о нем послал ГОСПОДЬ?

26 „Кровь Навота и кровь его сыновей видел Я вчера, — вот пророчество ГОСПОДА, — и Я отплачу тебе на этом же земельном наделе“. Таким было пророчество ГОСПОДА, так что возьми его и брось на этом наделе, по слову ГОСПОДНЮ».

27 Когда увидел это Охозия, царь иудейский, он бросился бежать по дороге к Бет-Хаггану. Иегу погнался за ним с криком: «И этого разите прямо на колеснице!» Его поразили на подъеме Гур, что возле Ивлеама. Он добрался до Мегиддо и там умер.

28 Слуги отвезли его в Иерусалим и похоронили с праотцами в его гробнице в Городе Давидовом.

29 Охозия воцарился в Иудее в одиннадцатый год царствования Иорама, сына Ахава.

30 Затем Иегу отправился в Изреэль. Иезавель уже слышала обо всем, она подвела глаза сурьмой, поправила прическу и смотрела в окно.

31 Когда Иегу въезжал в ворота, она выкрикнула: «Всё ли благополучно у тебя, Замврий, убийца своего владыки?»

32 Он обернулся к окну и крикнул: «Кто за меня? Кто?» Выглянули на его зов два-три царедворца.

33 «Выбросьте ее из окна!» — велел он. Они подчинились, и кровь ее брызнула на стену и на коней Иегу, — а он проехал прямо по ней.

34 Затем он отправился пировать, но повелел: «Побеспокойтесь об этой проклятой, похороните, она всё-таки царская дочь».

35 Пошли за ней, чтобы похоронить, но обнаружили только череп, ступни и кисти рук.

36 Посланные вернулись и доложили об этом Иегу. Он сказал: «Так именно и предрек ГОСПОДЬ через слугу Своего Илию из Тишбы: на земельном участке изреэльском съедят псы тело Иезавели,

37 будут останки Иезавели валяться в поле, как навоз, на том самом изреэльском участке, не опознать тогда будет Иезавели!»

8 Сгинет весь род Ахава, Я уничтожу в Израиле всех мужчин рода Ахава — и взрослых, и детей!

20 А дозорный крикнул: «Посыльный добрался до них, но не возвращается! А тот, кто в колеснице, правит, как Иегу, потомок Нимши, — несется как безумный!»

21 And Joram3088 said,559 Make ready.631 And his chariot7393 was made ready.631 And Joram3088 king4428 of Israel3478 and Ahaziah274 king4428 of Judah3063 went3318 out, each376 in his chariot,7393 and they went3318 out against7125 Jehu,3058 and met4672 him in the portion2513 of Naboth5022 the Jezreelite.3158

21 Тогда Иорам велел подать колесницу. Когда запрягли колесницу, Иорам, царь израильский, и Охозия, царь иудейский, отправились навстречу Иегу, каждый в своей колеснице. Они съехались на земельном наделе Навота из Изреэля.

22 And it came1961 to pass, when Joram3088 saw7200 Jehu,3058 that he said,559 Is it peace,7965 Jehu?3058 And he answered,559 What4100 peace,7965 so long5704 as the prostitutions2183 of your mother517 Jezebel348 and her witchcrafts3785 are so many?7227

22 Увидев Иегу, Иорам спросил его: «С добром ли пришел, Иегу?» «Что же тут доброго, — отвечал тот, — когда Иезавель, твоя мать, без устали развратничает и множит колдовство?»

23 And Joram3088 turned2015 his hands,3027 and fled,5127 and said559 to Ahaziah,274 There is treachery,4820 O Ahaziah.274

23 Иорам тут же повернул и пустился прочь, крича Охозии: «Измена, Охозия!»

24 And Jehu3058 drew a bow7198 with his full4390 strength,3027 and smote5221 Jehoram3088 between996 his arms,2220 and the arrow2678 went3318 out at his heart,3820 and he sunk3766 down in his chariot.7393

24 А Иегу, натянув лук, выстрелил и попал Иораму между лопаток: стрела прошла сквозь сердце, и тот рухнул в своей колеснице.

25 Then said559 Jehu to Bidkar920 his captain,7991 Take5375 up, and cast7993 him in the portion2513 of the field7704 of Naboth5022 the Jezreelite:3158 for remember2142 how that, when I and you rode7392 together6776 after310 Ahab256 his father,1 the LORD3068 laid5375 this2088 burden4853 on him;

25 Иегу велел Бидкару, своему вознице: «Возьми его тело и брось на земельном наделе Навота из Изреэля. Помнишь, как мы с тобой ехали позади Ахава, отца Иорама, и какое прорицание о нем послал ГОСПОДЬ?

26 Surely I have seen7200 yesterday570 the blood1818 of Naboth,5022 and the blood1818 of his sons,1121 said559 the LORD;3068 and I will requite7999 you in this2063 plat,2513 said5002 the LORD.3068 Now6258 therefore take5375 and cast7993 him into the plat2513 of ground, according to the word1697 of the LORD.3068

26 „Кровь Навота и кровь его сыновей видел Я вчера, — вот пророчество ГОСПОДА, — и Я отплачу тебе на этом же земельном наделе“. Таким было пророчество ГОСПОДА, так что возьми его и брось на этом наделе, по слову ГОСПОДНЮ».

27 But when Ahaziah274 the king4428 of Judah3063 saw7200 this, he fled5127 by the way1870 of the garden1588 house.1004 And Jehu3058 followed7291 after310 him, and said,559 Smite5221 him also1571 in the chariot.4818 And they did so at the going4608 up to Gur,1483 which834 is by Ibleam.2991 And he fled5127 to Megiddo,4023 and died4191 there.8033

27 Когда увидел это Охозия, царь иудейский, он бросился бежать по дороге к Бет-Хаггану. Иегу погнался за ним с криком: «И этого разите прямо на колеснице!» Его поразили на подъеме Гур, что возле Ивлеама. Он добрался до Мегиддо и там умер.

28 And his servants5650 carried7392 him in a chariot to Jerusalem,3389 and buried6912 him in his sepulcher6900 with his fathers1 in the city5892 of David.1732

28 Слуги отвезли его в Иерусалим и похоронили с праотцами в его гробнице в Городе Давидовом.

29 And in the eleventh6240 year8141 of Joram3088 the son1121 of Ahab256 began Ahaziah274 to reign4427 over5921 Judah.3063

29 Охозия воцарился в Иудее в одиннадцатый год царствования Иорама, сына Ахава.

30 And when Jehu3058 was come935 to Jezreel,3157 Jezebel348 heard8085 of it; and she painted7760 6320 her face,5869 and tired3190 her head,7218 and looked8259 out at1157 a window.2474

33 And he said,559 Throw8058 her down.8058 So they threw8058 her down:8058 and some of her blood1818 was sprinkled5137 on413 the wall,7023 and on413 the horses:5483 and he stepped7429 her under foot.

34 And when he was come935 in, he did eat398 and drink,8354 and said,559 Go,6485 see now4994 this2063 cursed779 woman, and bury6912 her: for she is a king's4428 daughter.1323

35 And they went3212 to bury6912 her: but they found4672 no3808 more3588 518 of her than3588 518 the skull,1538 and the feet,7272 and the palms3709 of her hands.3027

36 Why they came7725 again,7725 and told5046 him. And he said,559 This1931 is the word1697 of the LORD,3068 which834 he spoke1696 by his servant5650 Elijah452 the Tishbite,8664 saying,559 In the portion2506 of Jezreel3157 shall dogs3611 eat398 the flesh1320 of Jezebel:348

36 Посланные вернулись и доложили об этом Иегу. Он сказал: «Так именно и предрек ГОСПОДЬ через слугу Своего Илию из Тишбы: на земельном участке изреэльском съедят псы тело Иезавели,

37 And the carcass5038 of Jezebel348 shall be as dung1828 on the face6440 of the field7704 in the portion2506 of Jezreel;3157 so that they shall not say,559 This2063 is Jezebel.348

37 будут останки Иезавели валяться в поле, как навоз, на том самом изреэльском участке, не опознать тогда будет Иезавели!»
